MBS (Master of Biomedical Sciences) Track in Biotechnology

The program in Biotechnology is a joint multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary program between the College of Science and General Studies (COSGS) and the College of Medicine (COM). Biotechnology employs molecular biology and genetic engineering to develop new technologies and products, and to investigate their applications in medicine, industry, academia, and research and development. This Master degree program is a track under the COM's Master of Biomedical Sciences (MBS) Program; it will be run jointly by the Chemistry Department of the COSGS and the COM. We are currently accepting students.

MBS (Master of Biomedical Sciences) Track in Analytical Biochemistry

The program in Analytical Biochemistry is a joint multidisciplinary program between the College of Science and General Studies and the College of Medicine. Biochemistry is focusing on studying the chemical properties of biologically important molecules and processes in cells and tissues. It deals with the structure and function of cellular components, such as proteins, nucleic acids, lipids, carbohydrates and other biomolecules. Modern Analytical biochemistry aims to provide an understanding of fundamental biological processes at a molecular level and the various analytical techniques that are commonly used to analysis biomolecules. This Master degree program is a track under the COM's Master of Biomedical Sciences (MBS) Program; it will be run jointly by the Chemistry Department of the COSGS and the COM. We are currently accepting students.
