Program Mission & Educational Objectives

Program Mission
The mission of the program is to disseminate knowledge in the area of life sciences and to nurture the next generation of research scientists, entrepreneurs, educators, and biomedical professionals to be active members of their communities in developing a knowledge-based economy. The program aims to provide high quality, internationally competitive, and student-centered education by offering innovative courses and involving students in interdisciplinary world-class research programs.

Program Educational Objectives
Graduates from the Life Sciences program are expected to attain the PEOs within a few years of graduation. The PEOs for the Life Sciences program at Alfaisal University are as follows:

1. Graduates will contribute to the field of life sciences and related disciplines, either through employment or graduate studies.
2. Graduates will engage in life-long learning, professional development, and service to the community.
3. Graduates are expected to conduct themselves ethically, lead proactively, and use scientific knowledge in decision-making.
