Student Outcomes & Program Enrolment
The Life Sciences program is committed to providing an educational experience according to the highest standards to ensure that students completing the program will demonstrate the following student outcomes:
- Ability to apply mathematical principles and scientific knowledge to identify, formulate, and solve complex problems in life sciences and related fields.
- Ability to formulate or design a system, procedure, or process to produce solutions that meets the needs of society including healthcare, environmental, social, and economic issues.
- Ability to use laboratory techniques, develop and conduct experiments, test hypothesis, analyze and interpret data, and use scientific judgment draw conclusions.
- Ability to communicate effectively, think independently, and work in interdisciplinary research programs and fields.
- Ability to operate professionally, ethically, and use scientific knowledge in decision-making and problem-solving.
- Ability to function effectively as part of a team, plan tasks, meet deadlines, and make decision when facing challenges.
- Ability and willingness to assume responsibilities and undertake leadership roles.
